We also recommend emailing us at donations@civicguild.org before or after you give, so we and Hopewell know to expect your donation and can make sure it reaches us.

Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)

If you would like to give from a donor advised fund, follow the ACH and wire transfer instructions below. When you recommend the grant, include Civic Guild as the purpose of the grant in the grant purpose field of your DAF's donation platform, and let us know at donations@civicguild.org so we can confirm the funds are directed to the right project.

1. ACH and Wire Transfer

Hopewell asks that all donations be made electronically, as it is a faster and more secure process. When donating this way, please note:

• In the reference/memo field, you must specify that the funds are for Civic Guild.
• If you cannot specify Civic Guild in the reference/memo field for any reason, please reach out to us at donations@civicguild.org so we can make sure Hopewell directs your donation to us.

2. Check Payment

While not preferred, Hopewell will accept funds mailed to their bank lockbox if electronic payments are not an option. Instructions are as follows:

• Make your check payable to “Hopewell Fund”.
• In the memo line of the check, or in an accompanying cover letter, specify that the funds are for Civic Guild.
• If you cannot specify Civic Guild in the memo line or an accompanying cover letter for any reason, please reach out to us at donations@civicguild.org so we can make sure Hopewell directs your donation to us.

Tax Acknowledgement

Hopewell sends tax acknowledgement letters for donations of $250 or greater on a monthly basis to donors for whom they have contact information on file. To ensure you receive a letter, please share your contact information with us at donations@civicguild.org if you have not already.
